J Street U at UCLA
J Street U at UCLA, a chapter of J Street U, advocates and organizes for peace and security in Israel, and self-determination and human rights for the Palestinian people. We are firmly committed to the continued existence of Israel as a democratic home for the Jewish people, and see this as inextricably linked with Palestinian statehood. In addition to advocating for a two-state solution along mutually acceptable borders, J Street U at UCLA is committed to the depolarization of the discourse surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Jewish and campus communities. We believe that it is in Israel’s best interest for all interested parties, particularly American Jews, to undertake a robust and inclusive discussion of their role in shaping a peaceful outcome in the region.
